I never could understand why anyone would order anything from any retailer in December and then complain that it didn't arrive by Christmas. Christmas comes at the same time every year so it's not like people don't know that bad weather and high volumes will slow delivery.

But was QVC or UPS or USPS ? Any one know who was really at fault?

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

If I recall correctly, it was all of them...due to weather and record high volumes.

FYI, the shipping companies learned from last year. FedEx has hired more. I'm more familiar with UPS. UPS has totally revamped their loading and delivery software to be more efficient and started hiring more drivers in September. Just in our city, they've hired over 100 new drivers.

Package volume for UPS is already close to Christmas last year and they are handling it fine. Of course it's going to get heavier, but it isn't going to be a repeat of last year. They are even working Black Friday, a normal day off - drivers are working at holiday pay just so UPS makes sure they don't get backlogged.

Still good to order with enough time to spare, but it's not going to be a repeat of last year.

I ordered something Nov 6th and still not here, part of it is the Q's choice of shipping method.

3 days to leave, untrackable till today and not arriving on the EDD. I am not happy.

10 days? will be probably 2 weeks by the time I get it.

Weather is unpredictable. Someone always is disappointed.

I've bought several things online this week, and they're here within 2-3 days. None came from QVC--but that warehouse is very far away. So it usually takes over a week.
