Love Christmas - hate Christmas in July.  Especially with temps in the 90s!  Same with fall clothes!

I love, love, love Christmas. Therefore, it warms my heart watching Christmas shows and reminding me of our great family get together's we have at Christmas time.

I also enjoy shopping for others and getting a head start for Christmas. I am glad for August as well @Chatyone 2 , that is when I really get down to business with my shopping. It puts me in a very happy place. No stress, plenty of time to think about the gift as well as time to receive it and not worry that it will get to me on time. 

I think I ordered 4 decor items and about 8 gift items this CIJ. I just don't understand so much negativity. QVC offers such a wide range of things, and it hasn't been all Christmas this July. Most all retailers promote seasonal items as they tend to be the money makers. And why is it if it's hot outside we can't be taken away to a wonderful time of year, when it is cooler. If I'm hot and watching a show, whether it's shopping channels or a movie, I enjoy the cooler weather I'm seeing on TV. Doesn't bother me a bit.

QVC offers so many different channels, don't they now have 3? Not every one has had CIJ at the same time. There are many that do enjoy these shows, I would not expect them to cater to all my preferences. I don't need a mattress, vacuum, or electronics. But some people do so I just watch something else or just do something else. Plenty of stuff to do other than watching TV anyway.

To me, most of it looks like dust collectors and Dollar Store junk.

Look at all the clearance stuff from last years dreck pile....didn't sell then at the ridiculous prices, now it's still not moving ( those junky christmas trees things from Valerie with the cornball scenes inside them....sheesh.....)

Tchothkee City.. ugly resin statues...plastic candle and arch garbage....can't imagine toting that stuff around, displaying it, or storing it from year to year....and needing a second mortgage to buy batteries for all that glitter shiny corny stuff....

I see JIm Shore is up next... Super hokey cornball "Americana" made in ...well, you know where.

@Othereeeen I strongly disagree. I'm not sure if you are referring to QVC's items, which I believe you are, but I couldn't disagree more.

Any item could look like "junk" if not presented right. It's how a person displays the items.

My soon to be daughter-in-law has a business. She puts up Christmas decorations for one of the wealthiest areas in the nation. She is very much sought after. When I met her and found out what she did I asked her to come over and give me advice for decorating. When she saw my Christmas decorations displayed she was amazed. She asked where I had gotten several items I had and wanted to get some for her customers. She too was actually surprised when I told her QVC. She is 36 years old and had never shopped on the Q.

😹 😹 😹  .........  A designer name is no guarantee that you'll recieve designer merchandise.

😾 😾 😾 .......... How many of you got burned last year with the Martha Stewart TSV - Two Strands of Color Changing, Multifunction Premium Quality Globe Lights, with globes so realistic, you'll easily mistake them for fine Venitian Glass.

The reality ...... Two light strands on a thin wire with very sloppily glued plastic globes that were literally falling off, powered by batteries that barely lasted a full week.

😏 😏 😏  And .... How could I possibly forget the icing on the cake? Every time that I used my television remote, it would turn those fabulous lights off !

@ManyMeows I agree with you. Those Martha Stewart lights were junk. I still like 

watching CIJ but I will be more selective in what I buy.

I enjoy CIJ...it's fun tradition, a nice break in the summer heat & I usually finish my Christmas shopping finding great bargain priced gifts on air & on the website. CIJ & the other Holiday shows are the only time I watch QVC.
