I vote for more Christmas!

Sure beats another day after endless day of fashion, jewelry, beauty, shoes and handbags.

The usual fare will be back soon enough!

I didn't realize this was all weekend long! Didn't they used to do this only on the 25th? I'll be saving some dough at least.  And it's a needed distraction from the chaos in the world.

I am very well aware that some people love the Christmas shows.  That's fine.

I like my Christmas in late November and December.  I'm weird that way.  Plus, I don't like 24-hr-a-day shows of anything, whether it's gems or beauty or mattresses or whatever.  For those of you who enjoy Christmas shows in the middle of summer, I'm happy for you.  You'll have a wonderful weekend with QVC.  I think Hallmark channel is showing a marathon of Christmas movies this weekend too.

(pardon my snark)

It perpetually amazes me that QVC is such a big part of folks lives that day long or weekend long events get them wound up enough to have to vent about it!  Seems like a waste of energy and emotions to let a shopping channel's programming get under your skin like this.

Oh well.

It's a nice break from regular programming.  Often Valerie is on during the week when I'm at work.  Nice to be able to catch her show this afternoon.  I'm always open to decorating ideas.

unfortunately the Q has turned into one big infomercial. Same old product hyped into a frenzy of sales pitches. The only hosts that aren't in the carnival barker catagory are Jill Bauer, Sandra Bennett, Alberti Popaji,, Jayne Brown, Jennifer Coffey, Pat Dementrie and Antoinella Nestor. The rest are just screechy + loud.

Christmas isn't a big thing with me so I won't be watching Q this weekend.

National Geographic Wild channel is showing animal veterinary shows all day today, so I'll be checking that out later in the day.
