Absolutely yay for me!  Way too hot outside so it gives me cool vibes.   Adding...the funniest part of these threads to me are when the same people who proudly state they never shop or watch QVC chime in.  😹😹😹

@Tori3569 , or those who mention that it commercializes Christmas--it's a shopping channel, I expect commercialization!

No! After have a  Hallmark gift shop for years..Usually any Christmas in July items are last years leftovers.with a few new things sprinkled in to try to get your attention.

I don't need or want any more"stuff"..I am always giving stuff away...DDIL's..love to "shop" here every time they visit.

Big nay for me.  Christmas in July used to be a big deal.  Great opportunity to get some good deals ahead of the Christmas season.  This year, big NAY.  Lots of China Dollar Store junk.  And I took a nap to stay up for this?  And where is Valerie?

Re: Christmas in July...Yay or Nay???

I don't mind and my choice to watch or not.  I start out watching some but never see anything too different from the year before.

My main people to buy for are my two grandkids and what they want is not usually on the Q.  I have more decorations than I need and have been downsizing on that as well.

I enjoy watching some but also reminds me of what is on its way and just a little bit too early for all that for me.

I have picked up many a gift from the Q over the years and use to love the Christmas shows .  Times have changed is all.  But I still like to sneak a peak off an on.

Re: Christmas in July...Yay or Nay???

i am a mixed bag:

will i watch:  sporadically

will i buy:  99% no

does it bother me:  somewhat, at least START in July, not June!!  i am not angry about it....

does it need a full month: NO!

good for me:  yes, saving $$ - binge watch shows that i missed Smiley Happy

i am always purging Christmas stuff, so my intention is not to buy.

although... that berkshire velvetsoft beach throw $22 was adorable!  the crab is sold out, the flamingo is so cute, fish is a hoot.  but holding on to my c.c.!!  i have ssoooo many blankets!!

I feel exactly the same! I have way more holiday decorations than I need from collecting over many years and honestly the things I have are better quality for the most part. I have 7 grandchildren and I get them what they want, nothing I would get from qvc. Even my adult children I try to get something special, usually in a small shop in my town, or a dinner gift card. I will put it on from time to time but will probably not buy much.

Re: Christmas in July...Yay or Nay???

Nay for me!  The kids are grown and gone and no grandkids.  We don't need more stuff, especially Christmas stuff.  I know back when I was growing up in the 1950s and 1960s none of this Christmas in July stuff was ever done.  So I'll be tuning out QVC (which I do a lot now anyway).
