Re: Christmas again!

[ Edited ]

The Christmas shows ALWAYS bring me joy!🥰 The spirited presentations and beautifully decorated sets are something I look forward to; regardless of the month in which they are presented.😁 There is just so much strife and ugliness in the world presently. The ability to to turn the television on, and holiday "window shop" is a welcome diversion that I find quite relaxing. I never tire of Valerie's presentations; particularly when she is paired with Rick the charmer.❤ Getting a jump on holiday shopping is an added bonus.😁

@hyacinth003 Your memory is not faulty. I think the high profit they make on Christmas items was the springboard for earlier (June) and more frequent shows. They go where the money flows...

@Whispergirl  I wasn't going to reply, but then I thought why not. Let's compare how many times we have a Christmas presentation compared to: D&C, Lori G, D&B, Susan G., Shoe Shopping.... 'Nuf said?

@PA Mom-mom   Every single viewer wears clothes and shoes.  They're of general interest.  Christmas decor is not enjoyed or watched by a great many viewers and is not of universal interest.

@Kachina624   So do you really think that they are having Christmas shows when they are not enjoyed or watched by a great many viewers and is not of universal interest?? This is a shopping channel. They show what sells  If some don't like it  they can not watch.

Face it. Christmas is now a regular part of the programming here from late June through early December. Take it or do as I do and leave it.

I LOVE the Christmas shows and they are about the only ones I watch. I really appreciate the opportunity to watch and order my gifts early so I can truly enjoy the holidays.

@SandySparkles   Many of us see it quite differently, as in the hawking of tacky, cheap, foreign made baubles that in no way represent the reason for the season, which is a long time off.  It is more laughable than relaxing but if that gives you pleasure, please feel free to enjoy.

How many times is this complaint going to be posted? You don't like it, don't watch! It clearly makes a ton of money for them so it's not going away any time soon.

I'm sick, sick, sick to death of Christmas products!  I used to love Christmas but now that they're showing it 6 months out of the year, I can't even enjoy the decorations anymore. I turn the channel but still the constant bombardment takes it's toll. Clothes wear out or go out of style but how !uch new Christmas do-dads does anyone buy every year. Well, I will save money because I just won't even tune in.

I don't even like those extremely fake looking candles. Bought some once and promptly gave them away.
