I never have used it. I can't believe they ever did check hold?

@three4me Yes, I received the letter.

I had to smile as I haven't sent a check in for years but I did so just the other day. I liked the idea of paying via check rather than adding to the credit card bill.

I believe the new policy starts August 14th.

Like someone else here said it works well if you have to be gone for any extended period of time so a UPS shipment is not sitting at my front door just ripe for someone to come grab it. Also the way QVC is playing around with pricing these days, it saves calling up CS and getting a price match within the thirty day window.   I do wish they would come up with an alternative way of say delaying shipping or something to solve the first problem.  Maybe they will!

@beach-mom  @ You do realize that even though you put on check hold that doesn't always turn into a sale..This is not a layaway shopping channel. I guess you will have to change your shopping to either send it to another address or wait until you are home to order..

I don't know any place that will allow you to put a check hold when shopping. They want an immediate sale. QVC was more than generous to allow this type of purchasing.

@elated  this has been going on years and every now and then QVC would say they are ending check hold but never did.

Don't know if they are serious about it this time.

Did anyone get a letter stating QVC is no longer going to do a check hold? I do use this service sometimes so I am dissapointed that this is being discontinued.

@three4me  how many days do you have to send in the check or change to a different payment? I don't remember.

If they don't receive your check in 10 days, your order is cancelled.
