Totally agree.  When I was watching Jayne Brown on D&C this morning, I thought my goodness how refreshing and just like the QVC of old.  No sticking her face in the camera, dancing around talking incessantly about nothing (now that is actually one of the veteran hosts, oh well), and she was giving great detail about how the tsv was fitting, wonderful description about colors, etc.  We don't get that anymore.  I know times are different and what used to be a novel way to shop now has a lot of competition from on-line shopping etc., IMO QVC is shooting themself in the foot by this new cutsie way of I guess what they think is "entertainment" instead of actually presenting the products with pertinent information we need to make an informed decision.  And from the apparently drastic drop in sales, it's not working.

I've been casually following the career of Chris Licht.  He was producer for Steven Colbert's late night show and they tapped him to run CNN.  After viewership fell by half they dumped him.  Frankly I didn't see a lot of difference in the programming, but someone did.  The changes at QVC are screamingly obvious and I'm sitting back waiting for it all to shake out.  The only thing I'm committed to watch is Monday night with Amy. She has an amazing way of creating matches within the lines she is presenting.  You  people that buy on Ebay, you don't mean the identical QVC items, do you?

Yes, depglass they are the identical items. People buy pallets of QVC clothing that are old stock or returned and selling it on Ebay.  I have bought lots & never been burned since the 90's.  Not giving away my secrets or favorite seller tho.

@depglass Yep, same identical items. I just ordered Denim & Co. Duo Stretch Legging with Side Pocket (A594510) for the grand total of $12.93. The order was on Tues., it was shipped from PA on Wed., and should arrive here on Monday. I've ordered 5 QVC clothing items from ebay since June and happy with all of them.

One caveat on ebay: Always check the seller feedback before making your purchase.

@just wonder - Jayne B.  is a wonderful host.  She lets the product be the star of the show.  She doesn't include endless family stories in her presentations.

I love Amy, Jayne, Mary Beth. I’m not interested in most hosts anymore. Nerve wracking chatter.

I don’t know any young people who sit glued to QVC or shopping channels. They like to go shopping in B&M stores.

I say Jane, she was so annoying last night that I had to turn it off. Getting tired of the "honey" comments and her talking about what she bought for her "girls". We get it, she has a family, stop!  I think she had to much wine and really that needs to stop drinking on air.

You know older workers like to work. Where I worked they wanted to get younger workers and you know what? The younger workers would sit around and do nothing or not even show up to work, so quit being down on "older workers".
