Changes in programming and hosts - Page 2

Again, I guess I'm in the minority but I have no clue what the "regular" programming and/or time slots for specific hosts are. I tune in to QVC sometimes all day, sometimes just for a minute or two. I like TV on in the background but never tune in just for a specific show. If I like the item and it appeals to me I check it out more thoroughly online, reading all the reviews. Then, I will make a purchase. There are certain hosts I can't really watch so just change the channel. But, I couldn't tell you who typically hosts during my normal watching hours.

Amen, sister! I don't care, either .... just hire hosts who can do a good job telling us what we need to know to make an informed decision. IMO, all the rest of it is nonsense.

I'm always amused when they (hosts and vendors) tell us where we can wear the clothes.

They apparently live in a different universe than me.

Your comment reminded me of something I found SO annoying ..... back in the day when Bruce Makowsky was on practically every week with another TSV, he always used to say you can even wear it with jeans and a tee shirt. Huh?

They're our friend as long as they are employed by QVC. They want people to like them as long as they work there.

They have to be careful.

I don't know if it's my age or what, but it seems i have no patience anymore regarding QVc hosts. Now that they don't list the hosts on the program guide, i seldom turn it on.

There are so few hosts that i enjoy, and i am so sick of, Denim and co, logo, vionic shoes, mally, valerie par hill, isaac, it is just overkill. I used to love isaac, but now i don't even try to watch his show. It's just the same old stuff over and over, but made cheaper. It's sad they don't bring in new and exciting designers.

I have moved to D&C for enjoyment. I agree about Isaac. It’s always the same. I did buy a top of his that I accidentally saw on FriYay and it reminds me of his old creativity with a beautiful print. I don’t watch his shows anymore. Once upon a time I had them on auto set. It seems like he isn’t doing a lot since Covid. But others are.

And on QVC2 I don't know who the host even is so much of the the time. A lot of times the host is a vendor.

Two reasons come to mind here ....

First, not everyone watches the QVC shows in real time. Just about everything I tune in for is recorded and played back later, so what time it's on really doesn't matter.

Secondly, time zones. When a host is hosting at 1am in the studio, it's only 10pm pacific time.
