@Johnnyeager - My vacations are always well deserved, so I don't mind that this phrase is applied to the QVC hosts' absences—if only it were not repeated ad nauseum.  Smiley Wink

When Mary D. subbed for David I do think she mentioned too many times "well deserved."  However, if she didn't say he was on vacation QVC would probably have had hundreds or thousands of calls asking why David wasn't doing his show.    If the regular host isn't on a program, I just go with it.  None of my business why someone else is doing the show.  If I don't enjoy that host, I change the channel.  QVC isn't that important to me.
