Does anyone know if Carolyn is on a special diet? I've noticed lately when she does food shows she says she can't eat anything even blueberries and strawberries she was selling on her garden show today. Just curious.

None of the hosts are eating the food being presented due to the pandemic.

Maybe she has allergies?

@mom2four0418 So the food is not safe to eat?

It's a precaution. There's no evidence that the coronavirus is foodborne, but I wouldn't eat berries or cookies someone else had touched. I order takeout, but I only order food that's been cooked, not cold things like salad or sushi.

For safety reasons, QVC is not allowing any Hosts to sample any food presented.  They are not even allowed to open a wrapped cookie to eat.

They are taking no chances.  I can't blame them.  Better to be safe than sorry.

It has been handled by multiple people.  They're not taking any chances.

I guess that is the best, to be safe.  I did not realize this as I rearely ever watch a food show.

This makes sense- even before things 'broke loose' last month,  Costco stopped their samples.

@Alison Wonderland, you're smart, but it is also a good idea to heat the food after it's delivered.
