I still have a large candle I bought at least 15 years ago.  I've never burned it even for 10 minutes, but just knowing it's there taking up space keeps me from even considering buying any new candles.

@Luvsmyfam Have you seen the price of other candles? There are many other brands of candles selling for far more. @ManyMeows check them out.

Some people are willing to spend money on candles, others like to spend it on food, apparel, cars, homes, decor, etc. Everyone has a right to buy what they want and can afford. Check out some of the prices below.

YES, I have seen the price of candles in Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx for a LOT less - half the price or LESS of HS candles and the same size as his WAY OVERPRICED ones.

I love my candles but only in winter. In summer only reeds. I bought Slotkin candles many years ago when he had his beautiful decorating shop off Madison Ave in NYC & they were wonderful. I’ve been disappointed in his candles on QVC. I would spend that amount if I knew I loved the scent, clean & even burns.

My favorite is Nest. They are pricey but I love them.

Well now, my big decision is what scents I want in Dior candles 😂.  I totally agree with what you posted. Well said.  We are all entitled to purchase what we want and enjoy with no criticism.

🍎 🍎 🍎  Today was the first morning in weeks that I woke up to a cool morning with low humidity. In eager anticipation of Fall, I am burning my GOOSE CREEK MacIntosh Apple candle , and my entire home smells as though someone has baked a fresh apple pie in the middle of the apple orchard.

Bought this on a sale, five full size soy wax jar candles for $55.

Beat that, Harry Slatkin !

It's not a contest @ManyMeows we all like what we like.  I have Goose Creek candles and melts as well and other brands. I have Yankee melts going right now.  Please don't demean what others buy and what they spend.  Enjoy your apple candles.

@mspatmac

😹 Meeyowww !

 Before I would blow that much money on a candle, I would donate the cash to a local pet rescue center or food pantry.
