It's ok to have a different opinions about hosts. Think of it it this way, do you like everyone you meet in RL ?  Of course not, I have 2 hosts that I can't watch, so I don't.  I find Carolyn off putting and Shawn , well, If I wrote what I really feel it would be proofed. If you all can't stand a favorite host of mine, I simply don't care. I simply won't have someone who annoys me yammering at me in my living room.

@Spurt, Great suggestion.😊👍  However, unfortunately this problem has been reported in several threads (and I sent a detailed report via email asking the moderators to forward it to the IT department) -- and it's still an unresolved glitch in the software.  
So, until that bug in the user database and the software linking to it is investigated and fixed by the tech staff, changing our nicknames is not reflected in our Community posting accounts.  Here's a thread from today in Customer Care:  "Will my new name show up..... " https://community.qvc.com/t5/Customer-Care/Will-my-new-name-show-up/td-p/6271314

Getting back to your contention with CG, rather than the name issue (which should be a separate topic), I couldn’t disagree more!!
I do dislike Gary & Carolyn playing with those silly stuffed animals. But I honestly do not think CG puts down anyone! Certainly not her mother, husband or Gary, or any of us viewers. I think her fondness and love for these people shows through. She genuinely seems like a nice person, having watched her on Q for what, 10 years (?) and knowing her through LA radio as a DJ. You get to know a lot about people when you listen to them daily.
I sense you may have some issue with her. I understand that, we each seem to be annoyed by a host or two.
Just saying, I found your critique way off base.

On QVC, there have always been certain hosts, shows, mannerisms, shticks I disliked. I wasn't watching that channel that much.

Because of the pandemic, intermittent sheltering at home and most tv shows being re-runs, I've been tuning in more often...Desperation, I guess.

Not defending any of these childish behaviors, just saying many of us now have shorter fuses and less patience for their nonsense.

This is my first time to post but I just had to comment on this. My husband and I love watching Carolyn! It’s so relaxing to watch her and Gary together. I’ve been watching for tea and have never heard Carolyn say anything rude about anyone. She’s very relatable and funny!!
