I don't generally come across a bogus review, but I was checking item #j-291224, the Jai by John Hardy croco enhancer and necklace, and the reviewer states that she WOULD have purchased it if it was 24 inches instead of 20!! How can this be submitted as a review? It could be a thread for a jewelry topic, but as a review it is worthless. I could write a review about something I MIGHT have purchased if it had been larger, cheaper, made differently, etc. This is just dumb.

There's a similar kind of review under denim and company capris. It says the capris are perfect, too bad they sold out before I could get a pair. Email me when they are back in stock. The scary part is a number of people thought the review was helpful. Somebody is asleep at the wheel monitoring these reviews.

I read the Denim & Co review too. I checked no, that this review was not helpful. QVC needs to do a better job screening reviews before posting them. What little credibility the reviews had is now gone as far as I'm concerned.

They do a poor job of screening and accepting reviews.

Report these when you see them.

QVC needs to alter review policy. If this is getting farmed out to an outside company, they need to be fired.

The reviews I take them with a grain of salt. I recall seeing something similar with David Venable's cookbook. People where giving it a ""5"" star review when it hadn't even been published yet and was still taking recipes.

HSN wouldn't even allow you to review an item their system does not verify that you actually purchased. It won't even let you post a review within certain number of days after the item was shipped to make sure you have at least received and had some use of the item. On the positive side, QVC allowing me to review a certain item even if I did not buy it from QVC, makes me be able to help other customers nevertheless (I read reviews prior to purchasing and especially appreciate those that says a garment or shoe runs small, a garment doesn't wash well, etc.)
