I don't know what I'm looking for, even though I have a relatively small list to shop for, but today's offerings sure are boring me. Maybe they think people are out physically shopping so they'll wow me on Cyber Monday.

Agree.

With all the discounts and free shipping, I am close to done shopping for the

year with the Q.

I was out shopping locally this morning and got some really nice clothing up

to 50% off.

Have to pay my bills soon. Then I am done.

Re: Black Friday on QVC

[ Edited ]

I see nothing different today than what I've been seeing for the last 4 months!  It feels like "Black Friday Deals" have been going on that long!!

Same stuff, different day.  Not a thing I even give a thought to buying.

I liked a pair of Skechers boots for $70 I saw online at the Q. I don't need more boots, but told myself if they went on free shipping (shipping was $5.50) I'd buy them.

They were on sale for $70. At midnight on Wed. night, free shipping began, so I put them in my cart. I had a big day ahead on Thursday, so I decided to go to bed & finish buying the $70 boots with free shipping in the morning. But on Thanksgiving morning, the boots went up to $83. A $13 increase with the "free shipping."

So the great sale weekend at the Q made the boots cost $7.50 More. I didn't buy them from the Q.

I bought the same boots at Amazon for $63 and free shipping.

So much for Black Friday on QVC for me.

I don't really feel today's presentations are much different from all the other shows we've had for the past month with "Black Friday Deals" and "Great Gifts" and "Host X's Gift List" and "Deck the Halls" and any other broad title QVC dreams up so they can just sell whatever they feel like selling without any rhyme or reason. For more than a decade now, these have been the shows I never, ever watch live because they're the equivalent of spending hours rummaging through random discount bins with no real hope of finding something worthwhile.
