Berkshire Rawlings Plaid???

anybody know what the Rawlings means in a Berkshire item?

 

item H507844 but no mention of why they call it Rawlings? i thought Rawlings is a sports companyCat Happy

Berkshire is a "brand"...genuine plaid fabric is mostly from Scotland and Ulster Ireland.   

 

I would guess Rawlings is the name of the clan that wore that particular pattern design.

 

(I have ONLY wool and  mohair blankets and a shelf full of Hudson's Bay from Canada.)

 

I cringe when I hear some sales person mention "faux wool".....
