I used these for about 3 weeks. Today all of my tops have tiny white residue all over them. Has this happened to any of you and why would you think.

Re: Beekman wool dryer balls

I use wool dryer balls but not Beekman (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) but I've not noticed any problems with residue on my clothes.

I've been using wood dryer balls for years (some Beekman, some others).  Never had a problems like you described.

Re: Beekman wool dryer balls

I use wool dryer balls I got at Trader Joe's. No residue from them.

I also use wool dryer balls (not Beekman) and have had no issues.  However, I wonder if they really do  cut the drying time.

Question.

What is the difference between these and tennis balls?

I dont use the wool ones, I use the blue plastic ones, with the little spokes on them.  I keep 4 in my dryer at all times since 2011, they seem to hold up for a very long time.

I've used these wool dryer balls for years but not sure if they cut drying time as I hadn't heard that.  I use them as a safer alternative to the chemical-laden dryer sheets.

Re: Beekman wool dryer balls

I have used the product described bought from Beekman as well as Vermont Country Store.  No complaints about either product.  There must be something else going on with your laundry.  Hope you can get it fixed.
