amazing I make a simple statement on how I store my batteries and now you people got my house burning down

If that happens you won't be the first nor the last to have a battery caused house fire.

Airlines, UPS, USPS, FedEx and all common carriers have rules about how batteries, including alkaline batteries, can be transported.  The common carrier rules are international in scope.

There have been multiple warnings about battery storage, again including alkaline batteries, issued by fire department and related agencies.

Guess they all fell for a QVC vendor's "hype".

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

@coco14. The bad reviews are by people who didn’t watch the way the batteries go into the case. Honestly I can understand a bad review if something doesn’t work for you but there are some folks who are downright nasty. It is plastic but it’s not cheap in my estimation. I love mine. It was $20 well spent. I gifted one and they loved it

Mr. Sour, I am not trying to engage you, but I feel you are playing Devil's Advocate by posting your comment in the first place.

This thread was about a specific product - if you hadn't purchased it, your comment was then made to provoke -

If you had purchased it, and didn't like it, then your comments are valid.  But since that was not the case, why bother?

I went to the Dollar Store and bought a plastic shoe box that I store all my batteries in or you can even use one of your square lock n locks.
