Basso coat too big for petites

[ Edited ]

Looks too big and shapeless on Amy.  And the sleeves pushed up don't work.

The show is so much fun...

Beautiful models especially Maria (so good to see her again).

I'm SO tempted to buy the lynx but am restraining myself.

Let's  face it, the jackets are beautiful but the are full and add bulk to the figure.  I have one in a similar style in mink that has been in a closet in Pennsylvania for 10 years.  I told my sister to wear it but she's not interested.  It's  very warm, too much so for my climate.   It's a beautiful jacket which everyone thinks is real.

I own several of his coats and LOVE them but they are generously sized, so if a more fitted look is desired, sizing down might be a good idea. I still think she looks beautiful in it, but wonder if a smaller size was not available for demo purposes.😊

The Cropped Faux Fur Jacket in grey is fighting to get into my cart!😁

Basso acts a bit hyper ! Talks over Amy, she was trying to present the pants and he interupted talking about the coat and said he didn't care about the order of things. He's walking around, the show is hard to watch because he is hyper. He's always hyper, to much for me to watch. I turned off the presentation

I think the coat looks great. Yes it is big, but it is a faux fur, and it looks big and dramatic and gorgeous. I thought Amy looked great. Everyone looked a lil different away from the usual studio lights. It was a lil dark in that mansion.

Re: Basso coat too big for petites

I agree!  I don't understand why there are no petites.  For one thing the sleeves are way too long and I can't imagine what the cost would be to have them shortened.

For reversible coats you can cuff them and it looks good cuffed.  Not this one.  I have the Iman HSN TS faux fur from October that is reversible.  I also have an older Dennis Basso reversible faux fur coat from a few years ago so I really don't need another faux fur coat.

I really thought that he would be bringing a faux fur throw!
