Ordered the Blackstone grill on March 26, 2023 when it presented right at midnight as the TSV with a delivery date of April 3rd.  Got an email that it was backordered.  Called both QVC and Blackstone, neither could provide a straight answer.  Received notice in mail today 05.05.23 that my order cannot be fulfilled.  Again called both QVC and Blackstone.  Blackstone totally blames QVC for the inventory issue.  QVC has not been able to provide a satisfactory explanantion.  We were so excited when we placed our order.  Ordered accessories from Blackstone in anticipation of our new griddle/grill.  Blackstone says we can return them, but would have to pay the shipping.  Very, very

disappointed in the whole experience.  Shame on QVC and Blackstone for their lack of competence and customer satisfaction.

It may be the sign of things to come at QVC.  I have been reading they are in financial trouble. I read the stock has even been removed from the stock market.

Black stone is sold at Lowe's if there's one near you.

@LOUSGRL,  check out Lowe's.  They currently have several sizes of Blackstone Griddles on sale.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Re: BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE

[ Edited ]

@LOUSGRL   That's not right - none of it.  I think Blackstone's response to you seems pretty heartless and shortsighted. It does not speak well of them.  Sorry.  One of the companies should reimburse you guys.  If you ordered the tsv early there is no reason why you shouldn't have received one.

Maybe though you will end up buying a blackstone from somewhere else and will use those accessories?  If you check around you may find some good prices or maybe you're just done with the company?

@LOUSGRL

Maybe keep the accessories and go to a big box store in another month....they'll be giving grills away!!! Or at least discounting them..

( You'll know when you walk in on May 30th and Christmas Trees are already out......Christmas in July and all that ( which on Q starts in June, so May isn't out of the question!!!)...

That's really poor service from Q...

I'm so sorry that happened to you, @LOUSGRL.  Not a good look for either QVC or Blackstone.  I hope you can find another one at a good price point.  I know I've been interested in one for awhile and I think DH is too.  ACE hardware sells them too.  We went in on the same day it was the TSV and DH almost forgot what we went in for.  I came out of bird food aisle to find him staring at them.

Oof. I’m sorry to hear about that. I can imagine how frustrating it must be. I ordered one from the TSV as well. It took awhile, but I did eventually get it. It’s great, but the only reason I ordered is because my husband and I had been talking about getting one for at least a year or so. As others have said, so many different stores sell them. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning the accessories, keep them. I would imagine you can use them with any griddle you end up buying, whether or not it’s Blackstone. We almost bought a one from Cabela’s (an outdoor store) last year. They had a bunch to choose from. Also, if you buy one from the store, you get the added bonus of actually seeing it in person and knowing exactly what you’re getting.

@LOUSGRL, I hope you don't mind my asking, and I understand if you don't want to answer, but I'm wondering what type of payment method you used.

I wonder if the method of payment makes a difference in the order that purchases are fulfilled. Often times posters come here and report that they bought as soon as the TSV is shown. And in the past, when they had previews, people reported buying in preview and ordered were not fulfilled first and they were kept waiting. Makes you wonder what process is used in fulfilling the orders in what order.

So I wondered if someone bought with a credit card, and a single payment, would their order take priority over someone buying by check, or even buying with a debit card or using Easy Pay?

Do frequent customers get priority over new buyers?

It doesn't always seems that first come is first fulfilled.
