I ordered the "TSV Beach Pants" a few days ago, but, I would really like to have seen "gauze cotton beach pants" in "WHITE". I am surprised there weren't any! Gauze cotton is wonderfully cool for the Summer months. Also, in my opinion unless you have "great legs", I do not think they are very attractive looking! I prefer regular length pants. If you are "petite" such as "myself", I don't think these pants that stop at the ankle or calf are that attractie as they cut off your height and are not proportional. I would like to see more "BEACH PANTS" in thinner materials made for the Summer weather. As I mentioned, just my opinion! What do y'all think?

But gauze wrinkles!!
Aren't these wide leg pants? So how would anyone know if you had 'great legs'?
They came in Petite, regular and talls....with a wide leg you might trip if they were too long for you.

I don't care what you think. I love ankle pants and hate gauze.
Just my opinion.

@SweetSpice What beach pant TSV did you see that was a short length? All the beach pants I've ever seen were long and flowy, almost dragging on the ground.
As you could see by the quantity sold, something like 87,000, the fabric is extremely popular with customers. I have this pant from previous years and much prefer it to gauze, which often looks like a dishrag once it's laundered.

I agree, I'm short and only wear long length or pedal pushers. I find ankle, crops, capris shorten my legs. However, I like the wide leg pants and think petites can wear them.

I have Denim & Co. beach pants in petite length and it's the perfect length for me. They are one of my favorite pair of pants.

On the subject of beach pants.....I ordered three pair or the recent TSV and they are due to be delivered tomorrow. They've already been transferred to my local post office! Pretty fast shipping!

I think what the OP is saying is that she likes the gauze beach pants but wished that they were offered in white and more lightweight fabrics.
Included in the post but not related to the TSV was her opinion of ankle and crop pants which she does not care for.
For me, I prefer during summer a lightweight woven fabric pant w/o spandex. I'm okay with gauze and linen.

I have been on the hunt for that type of pant at a reasonable price for months.
Believe it or not, Kmart used to carry "crinkle cotton" pants for around $12 and I bought them by the dozen. Still wear them for pj bottoms, but they are nearly threadbare at this point.
Blair carries some, but I tried them years ago and they just weren't the same. When I do see them, they are $40 or $50 and I just cannot bring myself to spend that kind of money for pants to wear around the house. That's just me.
I've had my eye on some linen blend pants at JC Penney, but haven't decided yet. Cannot tell you how many pants I have bought hoping they would work, and they end up being too stiff, too heavy, too scratchy.
