Aveda TSV not available???

I bought the cherry almond Aveda TSV on 2/6 at 8am or around that time. I did not get notification in email until 2:10am on 2/7/2024. Today I get an email that there is a delay and the item is not available yet and if they can't get more in, my order will be cancelled. This is not right. I ordered at 8am that day. My spending will be less and less if this countines to happen.

@MOMOF2BOYS That's aggravating and annoying. It certainly should not happen especially with a TSV.

Not a way to keep or get new customers QVC.

They schedule TSVs many months in advance. There's always the possibility that the manufacturer/distributor will not, at the last minute, be able to supply sufficient quantities or get them to the warehouse in time. There are many possibilities for unavoidable snafus. These situations are a nightmare for QVC but stuff happens.

So what do you expect qvc to do when the vendor lets them down?? I'm sure they aren't happy to lose sales and wouldn't do that intentionally. @Kachina624 makes a good point. Sorry it happened and I don't like when it happens to me either, but it seems supply chain issues continue to haunt us all.

My niece works for a major clothing design house in NYC & told me they had to re route deliveries from the Middle East to around Africa. The pallets were sitting in the Middle East for days & they were hoping things would calm down. The Middle East crisis will interrupt trade routes & increase prices, eventually.

I'm sorry you weren't able to get the Cherry Almond option of the Aveda TSV. I ordered much later in the morning with no problems, and it was delivered yesterday.

I order via the QVC App with my credit card, in case that makes any difference.

I almost ordered that TSV. I have been using WEN for years. And although I am happy with it, I thought it might be good to try something else. But in the end I decided not to order. We have an Aveda salon in our town so maybe I will stop in and buy some to see if I like it.

The point is I ordered at 8am and they were selling this all day long, still at 7pm this was in stock. I should be able to get my order before someone who ordered much later than me. It’s not the end of the world but this has been happening way to often

I just go to one if the many Aveda Salons in my town and buy their products there. I get it faster and without shipping charges.

I ordered the Rosemary Mint and it has shipped. I had an Advanced Order pop up on the last TSV for Le Cresent ordered fairly early and it shipped out quickly. It wasn't a even a popular color, licorice

Hopefully your Aveda Cherry Almond is on its way to you and only a slight delay. That scent is more popular, but as you stated you ordered early. I ordered that scent last year and have enjoyed the fragrance. Hope all works out.
