I've placed a couple of orders for myself recently - stuff that it didn't matter when I received it.  But, I stopped considering any Christmas gift purchases from QVC right after Thanksgiving.

My recent orders are zooming to me.  Shipped within 48 hours and UPS seems to be on track and on schedule so there should be no problem with pre-Christmas delivery unless something goes awry.  Pray for good weather.

the last few items that i have ordered have arrived in 2 - 4 days!

I finished ordering for Christmas gifts Dec. 7-9.  All 7 items have shipped (the last one today) but none has arrived.

I won't order anything else that I want before Christmas.

at this point, i would not order anything from QVC that i needed for christmas.    i just have to look at past performance.   it'd be different if they had gotten their act together a few months ago and proven that they are capable of one week delivery.  but ... alas.

I ordered 7 items this past weekend and received 4 of them today.  All of these had to go through UPS and the Post Office.  I was expecting them to arrive next week.

I also wanted to add I haven't had many issues with QVC's shipping, however I ordered something from Hollister on Thanksgiving day and it just arrived today.  The original expected date of Dec 9 which I thought was long then it was changed to Dec 14.  Fed Ex dropped it off this morning.  I guess I will try to avoid ordering from them again but I was also trying to avoid a trip to the mall as well on Black Friday.

I would NEVER order from QVC at this point.  Nearly every year these boards are filled with people complaining that their guaranteed order did not arrive before Christmas.  Where/What is the guarantee?  Will the item be free?

I am having no problem with Amazon, as long as the items are not from 3rd party sellers.  Still getting packages in 1-2 days.

QVC has no control over what happens when items leave their warehouse. If items arrive late that's on the shipper. With Christmas less than 2 weeks away, personally I wouldn't take the chance on ordering gifts from any company unless I paid for the upgraded expedited delivery options.
