  I was wondering if most of the hosts only work  part time?  

They only seem to be on sporadically and not every day except for the morning show hosts.

Does anyone know for sure?

You know they also cover the hours of live programming one Q2.

I'm quite sure their job description includes a lot of off-camera work as well.

I think most hosts are full time. In addition to time on air, they spend a lot of time in meetings, learning about new products, reviewing products that will be in their show, training new hosts, etc.  What you see on air is a small part of what they do.

@Norriesgirls.   How would anyone on these boards knowfor sure what the host's schedules are?  The only time I ever heard anyone mention such a thing was years ago Jane Treacy mentioned being part-time.  Obviously she is now making up for lost time.

I cannot imagine David, Amy or Shawn in particular being part time. Just my thoughts.

Many years ago MaryBeth was part time for a while when her children were young.  I think it was mostly when the last two were young.

I see very little of the male hosts, I have an idea they do other things for QVC beside host shows.

I believe Dan Hughes hours have been cut back. He seems to be on air less than 10 hours a week now. Sadly the old timers are being pushed out the door.

@Reever and you know this how? As another poster mentioned, time on air is only a fraction of the work they do.

Dan Hughes has live shows on Q2.  He was on last night with a show.  

I remember Jane saying even working part-time at QVC is 40 hours a week because of the meetings they are required to attend, new product training, etc.
