or Tgt usually has a deal on the. With some kind of gift card why pay more money

You are paying for a lot of extras. The basic 40 Apple watch on Apple's website is a little less than $400.

If the Apple watch is for you Enjoy!  I love mine and wish I could afford to get the new version.  Mine is about 4 years old and I just can't justify spending the money on a new one.
