Would dress up for Halloween? They were so funny.

@Group 5 minus 1Wow!  I don't even remember Steve.  I'm not sure when I first started QVC -  maybe mid-90's.

Did you see the TODAY Halloween dances and costumes this morning?  Themed around dances/songs from music videos and movies.  I wanted to dance, too!

I remember Steve! And I miss a lot of the old things they used to do. It was more fun, and less high pressure sales back in the day. 

Newer management should look back a little, and see what it was that made the company so big and well received, and revisit a few of those things.

I remember it.  But does much of it relate to today's world?  Not really. To some of us, yes, but we are far in the minority.

I remember!  Then when Ron Maestri came along - well, he was hilarious.

That was when the Q was so much fun.  Great hosts and unique items you couldn't find anywhere.  They are a shell of what they were.

Back in the day,  it was more acceptable, even encouraged.

I remember on my job we had an office party on Halloween and had competitions.  That is long gone.  We as kids would cover the neighboorhood and Mom did not have to check our candy.  It was a different time and I don't see that changing.

One Steve was Steve Bryant--he played guitar and did some cooking too. he wore glasses. another Steve was Steve Coluntodo--I ordered my very first heart shaped amethyst ring from him in Jan of 1987. My second thing was the 4  qt Nesco.I believe CVN became qvc in 1987. Yes it was funny to see the hosts dress up.

I remember when David (Vendable) would host Halloween themed shows, and the set would be all decorated with Halloween stuff, and they would sell costumes, masks, fog machines, and other Halloween stuff.

Those shows were fun!

I sure miss them.
