Anyone know what Delivery Exception means?

My order has arrived at the post office but it says Delivery Exception now. Does that mean there is a problem and it won't be delivered to me tomorrow? I have never heard of this before.

@geegerbee  I think it means temporarily delayed.

From my experience, it means the package won't be delivered on time.  When I've gone on vacation, put my mail on hold and there's a smartpost package, this is what it says.  The post office has it, but my mail is on hold so they can't deliver it.
