I replied earlier in the thread. You can't quote using an iPad. The functionality doesn't exist.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Quote popped up in the upper right hand corner, click on it, your post is there, in a blue text box

Oh thank you! You now have to hit reply, then above the text box is the word QUOTE in black and capital letters. If you click on Quote, it will then quote the post you just hit reply on.
