I just want to understand, this new brand and it's premier is being hosted Amy S. who is thin and has a tiny figure. If the brand is about curvy girls why can't an average built hostess be involved? This is not a body shame comment towards AS, once upon a time in a land far, far away I had a body similar to her, but it confuses me why she would be the host selected to premier this brand. The models are nicely represented, in my opinion, however. Everything looks great on AS. I think it is not a realistic representation of a majority of women based on sizing statistics in this country that state that women are 16-18 (brick and mortar) on the average.

I'm not watching, but I'm glad to hear that they at least have Models who are accurately representing the brand and the target audience.
I hope she's not harping about how she's wearing an Extra, Extra, Small in these items (LOL)

@ajsidney12 I caught the last few minutes of the show and have to agree with you.
Yes 99% of items look great on Amy. Whenever I see her in something it really doesn't tell me how it will look on me...I'm more of a medium/large. However there did seem to be a good representation of sizes for models.

I thought the point of the brand is to have women of all sizes represented. At least that's what the mantra of the brand is. So..... why not have Amy hosting?
There were four different models of varying sizes, in addition to Amy, who is a size zero. Amy said she doesn't really have traditional curves, even though she has a little tummy that she deals with (her words).
If a small, petite size wasn't represented for the brand, then shoppers would be complaining that the line doesn't really represent all women as it claims.
Cannot win for trying.

Maybe AS is the host because she's available or maybe she's the host because like it or not fantasy sells to many, many shoppers whether we're buying cars, clothes, cosmetics, or castles.

I thought the target audience was "Girls with CURVES" ![]()

the line has sizes 0-36. just because it's called girl with curves doesn't mean the show has to have a curvy host. that's what the models are there for. to represent regular and plus sizes.

Yes, she harped on her size, but instead of XXS, her size was triple 000. I also wondered why she would be hosting curvy girls wear.

@freakygirl , I agree. I don't think QVC has a host who would be able to wear Plus Sizes. That is what the models are for. But quite honestly, I thought Girls with Curves clothing was only going to be all Plus Sizes. So I was surprised to find out differently after watching a few minutes of it. Seems like a good show.

What would you think of a Petite girl show and the host was Jayne Brown?
