Totally agree. And last year, I ordered 3 pairs of Muk Luk pjs. They were a TSV, and it was an advance order. Two showed up, the third never did. Luckily, it wasn't a critical gift, but it soured me on ordering pajamas from QVC. I am retired, but get dressed every day. No need for any of this for me, I sleep in nightshirts. Enough with the cozy loungewear already.

I work from home...have since March 2020 and will continue to for the forseeable future. I have gotten dressed in real clothes every day even though I almost never leave the house. I've never been a "PJ" person anyway and while I have no issue with loungewear (I love the VS Pink line), I don't get the wearing of pj's and slippers in public.
Also, I never see HSN hosts in pajamas and if they are...it means they are selling them. And even then, they look more put together than others.

My personal preference for sleep wear is nightgowns and I refuse to wear printed thin fleece bottoms, just me.
I totally agree with your preferences. Maybe its due to my mom, even when we were sick, she always told us to take a warm bath, put those PJ's away and put on comfortable clothes you'll feel better..Thats why I put on casual comfy things each and every day and put away my jamas for sleep....(I wonder if thats why some people have problems sleeping....to me PJ's are a signal time to windup bed time is coming.....if you stay in them all day you dont get that "trigger")..........JMHO

Oh brother, here we go again......I admit I do have a pajama day now and then, especially on a snowy winter day, however, these pajama shows are getting a bit stale, IMO. I'm also not a Cuddl Duds fan as a few years ago I had purchased their fleece leggings, they were the worst pants I ever purchased and both pairs ended up in the trash after only one wear. I washed on gentle and hug to dry and I have never seen worse pilling on an item in my life! Totally turned me off to this brand.
I agree I bought a pair , the fit was terrible, the quality wasnt there, they washed awful and pilled ..... donated them to Goodwill! .............I prefer Carol Hochman

Most everyone wears pajamas of some sort, so apparently it's a popular gift item.
I get dressed every day. It's depressing to be in pj's all day. And I don't "get" loungewear. Maybe if I lived in a zone where we were stuck inside a lot, it would make more sense.

Hosts do not look good wearing pajamas. They have models for that.

In addition to being tired of seeing the hosts loitering around in their pjs, what's up with the beanies? Do people actually wear these things indoors? Is this some kind of fad or what? Looks ridiculous.

What some see as pj's are lounge wear and can be worn a lot places. Many women used to wear "housedresses" all the time in the past which was worse looking than matched set clothing that many complain about now!!

I'm not a stay in your pjs all day kind of person. I am get dressed and get rolling even if I don't go out, but that is rare. I work still. Today I am home but getting dressed soon. No hurry and nice to take my time this morning.
With that being said I am the kind of person who also likes to get in her pj's early in the winter.
I.don't mind the shows and ordered a few last year so I am good, but I like to go to Kohl's and other stores for my sleepwear and they have some great deals. Last year was different for me when it came to shopping. I ordered for my daughter and grand daughter last year as well.

I've bought some Cuddl Duds and I got a set as a gift, they're fine. I prefer to sleep in nightgowns/nightshirts because I'm cooler and it's less constricting.
I never used to wear PJ's for sleeping or relaxing in, but I have now embraced it. Lounging around the house in regular clothes for me not only is uncomfortable, but I don't want to risk my "good clothes" getting dirty for no reason. So I will wear pajama bottoms with a cozy non PJ top, or a house dress. Sometimes I will also wear capri length leggings while at home. I don't wear pajamas in public though while running errands, the exception has been when I was sick and had to go to the pharmacy to get medicine and didn't feel like getting dressed.
Our society has become more and more casual with clothes. With a few exceptions there's no need for corporate dressing. QVC is here to make money so they will continue to offer these styles, and for Christmas - it's an easy show to do. Someone's buying, otherwise they wouldn't have a lot of pajama shows.
