Hosts don't and didn't pay for their Dyson hairdryer. They were given them for free by QVC. It's an advertising expense that is written off.

 

Notice how they will post a social media message? Or saying how great it is. They are influencers and get paid to host and influence their viewers to buy an expensive item like the Dyson hairdryer.

 

Of course it's great...a $400 perk is always a good thing.
