I did not see the show,i have no interest in that stuff, but i have seen the host on other shows,and i find  she hesitates on items,and not prepared.

I find your comments surprising. 

I don't watch as lot of QVC shows, but everything I've seen Teri Conn do has been informative and professional, without exception.

Perhaps she was a last minute fill-in for another host who couldn't make it? 

If that's the case, I think we should cut her some slack.  None of us are perfect.

Terri is one of the best. I have never seen her unprepared. I will go with a last minute host change up. Not to say that can be annoying when you want a good show with a favorite brand.

Terri's name faux pas was a huge slip up.  She should have been terribly embarrassed, and apologetic to the guest.  I didn't see the show, did she apologize?

MacKenzie Childs is no longer owned by the original couple.  It is part of a private equity firm.

MacKenzie Childs was sold quite some time ago by the original Mackenze and Childs couple.

If I was Rebecca Proctor, or the sales manager of MacKenzie Childs I would be furious at QVC for having such inept hosting.

This is a luxury, prestige brand and they deserve to have a host who is very familiar with their prodcut lines and their terminology. 

I thought Alberti was going to do this.  He's perfect with Rebecca Proctor.
