This marketing ploy is too obvious, and I agree, it is so silly.  The more recent practice by QVC of just stating the cost of the first installment of Easy Pay seems downright misleading.  Honestly, QVC, who do you think you're fooling?

@cbrite Don't forget ($99.99) it's less than $100.00. Of course there's S&H plus tax on that. So, by the time you add up everything it's at least $10.00 over the $100.00. But, they've used that one for years. like that penny makes the difference.

Unfortunately, these and other misleading marketing ploys have been around for a long time. This indicates that they must be working.

They are always 'flying out the door'......LOL

New customers are always an equal number announced like "We'd like to welcome the 300 new customers".. (never 302, 356.....is always an equal #....) Silly

And they put it on Clearance, but add back in 10-30% for s+h.....so you really get nothing on sale....LOL

Usually the price on sale or ODO, ends up being more than the Q's regular asking price....over budget ? Silly LOL

Their One Day Only price comes on at 11:55pm....so you have 5 minutes to grab that baby up....Run don't walk!!

If you open a Credit Card you will get $15 to spend !!!! BUT it's more than that to return the item if you do not like it..................Silly

@Bibliophile   I wonder how many people don't realize how many payments of   XX dollars they will be paying.  Also, when they say 6 payments of $8.99 they don't mention the added shipping and tax so the payments are more than that.  I feel for those that don't understand.  Also, those that get into many "easy pays" and find it is a huge amount on their credit card.  Buyer beware and be informed,
