I like Amy ,  she is upbeat,   Obviously loves clothes and looks good in everything .   I love her hair style ,  mine is pretty much the same cut ,  modified bob.    my base color is a lighter shade and I do have the highlights also.

I do wonder though why Amy doesn't do something about her speech issue.    Says sod instead of sold , god instead of Gold for instance .   I wonder if she ever worked with a speech therapist.   I have a sister that did  years ago when she was young because she had trouble with L's as well .

@Kitty Galore I'm surprised she has the job she does speaking in public with her speech impediment and mispronunciations of which you have only mentioned a few. If she has worked with a speech therapist it didn't take.

@Biftu    I know when she first started I did wonder myself .   It is sometimes a long process working with a speech therapist.   Maybe she just didn't want to either go if she did it just didn't take as you pointed out.  My sisters issue was resolved after seeing a therapist for a lengthy time and her speech is perfect .

@Kitty Galore  Glad to hear you sisters issue was resolved.  My goddaughter had a speech issue when she was very young and spent a lot of time with a speech therapist and she too has perfect speech.  It's a long haul though.

A few years ago Amy was hosting a Jewelry show and presenting necklaces with a pendant of your birth month and on the back it also had the flower of the month, she had a hard time pronouncing 'chrysanthemum' and had to say it a few times to get it right, when it came time to review all the monthly pendants/flowers she had to slow down and carefully pronounced the word chrysanthemum to say it right, I guess it could be a tongue twister for some.

Sometimes a small "imperfection" can be just perfect.  Amy is Amy and that is a good thing.

I’m not an Amy fan, but we all speak a little differently, regional accents, speech quirks, or even impediments. What matters is whether someone communicates clearly, and Amy does.

ITA, definitely not a fan either but must say I never noticed this speech impediment others speak of.

@KKJ  Next time listen more closely, you'll hear her mispronunciations.  Beyond the examples given on another post, listen to how she pronounces cashew.  She says cash shoe with emphasis on shoe.  It's noticeable.

I have never had a problem understanding Amy.
