One of the reasons I said my idea for a field for younger people to go into was tattoo removable.

@RetRN , I apologize if I was rude. 🌺

No, I don't think you are, you're just from another generation. I, personally, don't like them either, especially on women or if someone is totally covered with them but it's the way of the world today. However, every generation has their thing. We had the Hippies, Grunge, Disco, and all those odd haircuts over the years. Forty years from now someone will be asking the same question about fads that will come and go during that time frame. Some things remain a permanent part of our lifestyle while others fall by the wayside.

I have no problems with tats at all but I do get distracted by them, checking out the artwork, etc. Some of it is absolutely beautiful and others my focus is on figuring out what they are.

Well, I don't care if people have tattoos. Some can be cute (like a butterfly or a heart) and other hosts have them on the Q but they are not a distraction from the product. My eye was drawn to them because I was wondering what they all meant. She has quite a few. Poor Isaac, I missed the whole message of his sandals.

To me it's just the Q representing more of the population by having hosts that have characteristics that some of us have. Trying to be relatable in other words.

I don't like them. If someone wants one it's their body go for it.
I won't ever have one. I hate needles so no thanks.
I get stuck once per year to check my thyroid so I can get a refill. I won't do it more than once per year.

The image is permanently in my memory. We were at a Phillies game. In front of me was an older gentleman. He had gotten tattoos when he had muscles. His arms no longer had the same muscles and his back was no longer broad.
I spent much of the game looking at the blue ink on his arms and back. You could not figure out what the tattoos once looked like. It was just blurry blue ink, crevices and folds.
I also couldn't figure out why he wore a tank type shirt. Wondered if he still wanted to show off his tattoos.
After seeing that, I knew I never wanted a tattoo.

I also think it is generational for the most part. I just wonder if they will be happy with them as they age. I know we didn't have the full knowledge of sun damage or effects of smoking years ago. Not saying they are harmful, but a tattoo on a young person looks better than an older individual... JMO.

@Melzie I think it is judgmental to say if you don't like them you are old. It is about something permanent being done to your body that I don't care for. I don't know why you would want to use your skin as a poster. There are other things also like a lot of cosmetic surgery that I don't think is attractive. Not because I'm old.
