I do notice that some of the hosts speak like they’re Announcers or Auctioneers. Think sports game announcers… that’s the voice I hear. I think it’s used to get you focused on them and what they’re selling.

And I totally understand why some find that not enjoyable. 😔

i have been around for a few decades......lots of experience

i have seen promotions i like and promotions i don't like

i do not expect to like all promotions.......again....experienced here

i do not waste time with promotions/presentations/hosts i do not enjoy

there are a bajillion alternatives for enjoyment

in no way does my purchasing or lack of purchasing have anything to do with a promotion i do not like.   i buy what i want/need.

This new series is completely disjointed. I offer the following:

1. What is the purpose of Monifa? Is she there to read a quote from someone about how they suddenly sprung to life at 52/62/72/82 and now everything is wine and roses?
2. That huge projection screen is downright obtrusive. We know David is across the soundstage on a kitchen set, why does he need to be on a jumbotron to tell Sandra about the seafood? Just jump to his set already. And the people are HUGE on there, not necessarily the look the vendor, or host would like.
3. Once again SK has no co-host, hmmmm well isn't she special.
4. Jane again saying "Tell us about your company, how did you start" and proceed to barrel through all the information herself. See SK as another example.
5.  Same stuff, nothing new, lots of talking about themselves, trying to claim to be that supportive friend to the older customer but presumably, due to backlash, is now including everyone under 50 (and men too).
6. Due to the upcoming holiday season I hope they have to "interrupt this broadcast" to get back to some standard programming.  Or, I predict this dies off by the end of the year as they always do a reset of shows, hosts, new programs etc. at the new year.

I am saving lots of dough since this circus started, and I feel good about that.

It's turned me away and I find it actually insulting.  They are really trying to push how hard it is to be a woman over 50.  Quit trying to tell us how we should feel.

Someone here mentioned the Jai bracelet that said Fabulous selling out. I saw that presentation and all I could think was who would wear that. A bracelet saying I am fabulous with your age (decade) dangling from it?  I wouldn't wear that if they paid me to. They didn't mention how many they brought in; so how many really purchased? It also makes me wonder how many over 50 women like this stuff? No offense if you bought it.  I just don't get it. Why would I announce my age on a bracelet?

Sometimes it reminds of the people who used to sell pan sets at the fair... overly pushy and full of false promises.

Well, it is only a series.  So it will be ending at some point, and the regular schedule will resume.

    Thanks for being so expressive.  I laughed so much  reading your post. I think  Monifa is the Game Show  Host who will be spinning the wheel having us all  spell " Over Fifty....  Fabulous " .
