I heard Ali Carr tell the Anybody rep - Carrie Bradshaw- that she was Mrs. Minnesota America.  Googled it and she was in 2012:

Ali Carr was crowned Mrs. Minnesota America on March 3rd at the historic Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she competed with other accomplished married women from across the state of Minnesota. Ali also won the Community Service award.
Being an energetic and self-motivated and positive woman has led to much of Ali’s success. She is a native of Louisiana but moved to Minneapolis to pursue a degree in Psychology from North Central University. She is currently working as the Graduation and Records Specialist at North Central University, where she counsels graduating seniors and helps them accomplish their graduation goals. Additionally, she works as an emcee with with Black Fox Productions.

Re: Ali was Mrs. Minnesota America

Some of the Minnesota associations are not coincidental. QVC's predecessor was called CVN and that company was based in Minnesota. I just looked it up and QVC boight the company in 1989. Somehow in that transaction I think is when Value Vision (now Evine) developed and remained in Minnesota. There might have been other changes as well that I don't know about or maybe didn't get quite right but anyway here is a part of the story. So several in that early generation of show hosts who are still in the business came from Minnesota.

Interesting info about Ali Carr!
