Ali was Mrs. Minnesota America

I heard Ali Carr tell the Anybody rep - Carrie Bradshaw- that she was Mrs. Minnesota America.  Googled it and she was in 2012:

Ali Carr was crowned Mrs. Minnesota America on March 3rd at the historic Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she competed with other accomplished married women from across the state of Minnesota. Ali also won the Community Service award.
Being an energetic and self-motivated and positive woman has led to much of Ali’s success. She is a native of Louisiana but moved to Minneapolis to pursue a degree in Psychology from North Central University. She is currently working as the Graduation and Records Specialist at North Central University, where she counsels graduating seniors and helps them accomplish their graduation goals. Additionally, she works as an emcee with with Black Fox Productions.

Over the years I've seen many pageant queens go in the direction of being in front of the camera for their jobs. Hosts, vendors and journalists.

She ranks in my top 5 hostesses.  She always gives adequate information and is congenial, classy and eloquent.  She also wears the clothes well.
