Albany is a go getter just like LR. She's not going to work for anyone long term when she can make her own way. True friendships withstand and respect when each person is striving to succeed. Success for each person looks different. I'm sure they are just fine. Albany has had a lot of training already at QVC. She's good to go. I did hear they traveled together to Italy and I believe I saw photos. 

I'm a super ambitious person and very particular with my friendships. All of my friends understand I'm busy, can't meet every week and I'm making my own way. We support and help each other as needed but we respect that we are aiming for greatness and the path is not always clear and things will happen.

The assumptions people make are ridiculous. QVC is not purging older hosts for younger ones to attract a younger demo! Q is geared to women over 50- look at the cover up  clothing, endless ortho shoes, etc. Younger people would not want the Q style at ALL!!

Albany probably left because she has four children.  Possibly the hours at QVC were too tough.  It might be easier representing an Italian jewelry maker a couple of times per month.

I don't usually watch jewelry shows, but I did tune in for a few minutes to watch Albany on Evine.  I think that she did a fine job.  

What I really think, though, is how exciting to be traveling to Italy, probably quite a few times a year, as she works with LR.  I would do that in a heart beat.

@Sheilaray, I agree. I find it quite interesting Albany hanging out with Lisa in Italy. Wouldn't Evine be paying Albany and THEIR team to be doing work for THEM?? I think they're just meeting up for a good time but not necessarily for buying purposes although it makes me nutty how Albany tries to gush all over Lisa's items just to try and help her sell more. It doesn't say much about the company Albany now works for - Evine. 

To me, Albany is much better on her own. When around Lisa she acts very foolish and it's off putting to say the least. 

It's funny we never heard of this "close friendship" only until AFTER Albany left Q. Then again Lisa seems to get enjoyment more out of those who are against Q.

@iTalia,  Albany was just in Italy a few months ago for “some girl time” as she and LR call it. Albany is a wife and mom who supposedly quit to spend time with her family. I find it odd that  “girl time” are expensive trips to Italy every few months all the while talking jewelry and shooting video for LR’s business.  

My girlfriends and I love to get together,  even for girls only weekends. But trips like Italy are something we would do with our husbands and families and couldn’t justify the price, experience  and time away from our jobs and families . I’m sure many others feel differently, nevertheless, this Albany thing seems like more than meets the eye.

Speaking of the Fair, how "creative" can LR really get!? She goes all the way to Italy just to offer the same worn out "designs" she's done for the tribe multiple times over already?? Making everything sound fresh & exciting. Yawn! But it's coming from someone who repeats their clothes over and over too so it doesn't shock me she can't come up with anything truly NEW & exciting to offer. Just how long are those tribe peeps going to sustain.

Albany probably has to go to the fair for her new job.  Lisa goes to the fair for her own business.  It may be that they just decided, since they were both going, to travel together because it would be more fun.

I would do that if I had a friend who worked at another company in the same business and we were attending the same conference.  Why not?  I
