I just had a review I wrote rejected. It was for a beauty cream. I raved about the cream - it is wonderful. But I slipped up and mentioned that my skin is sensitive and that this cream doesn't cause any reactions on my skin, while creams with another ingredient (which I mentioned) can sometimes cause skin irritation. I know that this is why my excellent review of this project was rejected. I guess that other ingredient is in some other products they sell.
Okay, I can accept this. I never did a redo on my review because I put so much effort into the first one and figured, it's their loss. What I am having a problem with is I just went to a product where someone said it was beautiful and gave it five stars but that they hadn't bought it yet. This is ridiculous! I have seen this done many times. If QVC is so careful about reviews, why on earth would they allow this. Also, I've seen it work both ways on these types of reviews where the product was not even bought. Sometimes they bad mouth it and sometimes they give it a great review.
This isn't right. If they reject reviews for not following their rules, then they shouldn't be posting these. Everytime I see one of these, I'm going to click on "inappropriate review".
