Ade is stunning and would look good in most any hairstyle.

@DJs mom wrote:@Caaareful Shopper thanks for the address. It is not located in downtown Philly (also known as Center City). That address is a section of the city called Southwest Philadelphia (which I now notice is referenced in your description). However, it isn't far from where I work. I work in Center City Philly which is the business district. I will have to make sure I drive past the mural so I can see it in person.
@DJs mom Wonderful! Thank you for that clarity. If you do get a chance to see it in person, please let us know what you think of it.
@Caaareful Shopper I most definitely will.

There is no reason why Ade chooses to wear wigs. All the models wear wigs as do many people today as a fashion choice and a form of expression.
Why this topic was bought up in the first place is beyond me but I am very happy that it remained upbeat and positive in tone.
I have a suspicion that the OP wanted to start & stir the pot ..Good job posters we did not lower ourselves.Who cares what someone wears as far as a wig for that matter and how does that in any way have anything to do with your purchases on or viewing of QVC ?

OMG - I had to keep staring at the picture to make sure it wasn't a real (camera) picture. So beautiful and such an artistic feat. Kudos Adae for being selected as the model for the Mother. Where is the mural located?

@NYwoman wrote:The name is Ade a short form of a longer Yoruba name of which Ade is a part of.
There is a meaning of royalty or "crown" within her full name.
For instance, my name is Titilayo, one who gives joy, and the nickname or short form is Titi. All Yoruba names mean something, either a wish for them, a description of their birth, or a quality they seem to have.
Yoruba is an ethnic group mostly in Nigeria but also in Benin and Togo.
You know this how? Are you friends with her?

Friends?
One doesn't need to be friends with Ade Jaiye to know that her family is Nigerian, that she is proudly Yoruba and speaks fluent Yoruba.
She has discussed this freely in numerous magazine articles and interviews and frequently on her social media.
No secret at all.

Exactly. It doesn't take personally knowing or being friends with her.
It's also called already knowing, and continued learning about other cultures. I knew Ade was Yoruba from the moment I started seeing her social media posts (which include the Nigerian flag along with the American flag), including little insights she would give about her son and father.
