@Othereeeen

😂😂😂  Why have I never had that Personalized Shopping Experience in Walmart?

Do I need to join the club and become a Walmart+ Insider with free shipping on everything?

😎 Seriously .... This qualifies you as Coolest Poster of the Year !!!

Re: A thought about host banter?

Especially tired of the banter when JT giddily namedrops political figures of her liking.

That used to be a big no-no on QVC, but apparently not now.

Re: A thought about host banter?

Part actor

Part sales rep

Part con artist (!)

The con artist percentage is growing. They are promoting more options of similar products (frying pans, cast iron cooking vessels, utensils, etc.) and each time the hosts says "This is THE BEST <insert product> we've ever carried".

If I want entertainment I watch TV, play music, read a book or socialize with friends.  If I shop on the Q, I want information about the product/item from the vendor and host.  I do not need to be entertained by sales people.  First and foremost they are selling a product which is their job, stick to the item information, bottom line.  Also the hosts will never say anything negative about what they sell , right there that tells you something.

I like the host banter- whether they're talking about their Mom's grench toast or kids steaking their body wash, it all makes the hosts more relateable to me and I like hearing about their lives.  I can only hear a paper shredder presentation for so long before I want to hear something else, so the small talk and stories are great.  Alli Car tells some cute stories and I like it when David relates the food presentations to stories of food he's enjoyed growing up.  Jane loves her daughters.  Amy is a busy mom who loves her kids.  TJ said during a presentation of lazy boys that his mom has a recliner and he and his sisters loved hearing the smack boom of the recliner lever going up and down.  Little stories and details like that are things I like to remember.
