A Call From QVC

Today I received a phone call from a QVC phone number. The phone number was a legitimate QVC phone number - 1-800-367-9444. The person (can't remember if she identified herself by name or not) said that because I have been a QVC customer for so many years that I was being offered free shipping starting tomorrow through January 31 - there were exceptions to the free shipping but I won't list them. I was given a special code to use for this offer.

Anyone else get this phone call? Wondering if its a scam.

@JudyL I received a card in the mail offering me free shipping and a code a couple of weeks ago.

Edited to add: it was for the same time period you mentioned....1/25 through 1/31.

I also received a call last week from a very pleasant lady and she thanked me and knew how long I had been a customer. She gave me a code for free shipping and it was the same code on the postcard I received in the mail. Don't think it was a scam call.

If you go to the QVC website and attempt the code, it will either work or not work. Doesn't do anything if it's a scam or not because your attempt is made on the actual QVC site. If you can benefit from this offer it won't hurt any if you give it a shot.

On that note, everyone is getting free shipping this weekend anyway, no code needed.

If you order from a QVC website or app, the worst that will happen is a bad code will be rejected!

(Unless you think that scammers have taken over the QVC website.)

Thank you everyone! Hadn't thought that if I go to the QVC website and use the code, if it is a scam, it would be rejected and nothing else would happen. It is supposed to start tomorrow, 1/25, and I can supposedly use it as many times as I want between 1/25 through 1/31. So if I decide to purchase anything, I will try it out.

I could've received a call but my cell lists calls as Potential Spam.. I dont answer.
