@JerseyGirl44

I have friends that absolutely never cook.  Don't like to go to grocery stores either.

Complete opposite of me but it exists.

If there was a group of people and all were given $10K guarantee it'd be spent differently.

Love this post!  Perfect example.  👍🏻

Don't see a problem with what OP posted.  She wasn't insulting or putting down anyone, just that she thought it was pricy for a meatloaf and I agree.  And I've bought many food items from Q.

If you don't like to cook, there are so many meal delivery plans that have excellent offerings. All of it is fresh and you can change what you eat every week.  I think this is the best way to go.

There are so many options to purchase food that you don't have to break the budget. Even if you pay these high prices, there is no guarantee what you are getting and if you will like it. I know you can get a refund but there is nothing like homemade. You know what you are putting in your food.

The meatloaf looks good.   At least you get free shipping and handling.

@lgfan,

I thought this was a loaf of bread and a plate of vegetables lol!

I'm sure that each and every one of us has different priorities and opinions of what is acceptable out of pocket expense that we will pay for something being offered on QVC-whether it is food, a pair of boots or a cosmetic. Personally, I either buy my meat from a local farmer or an online vendor I trust. I love that we all have choices!

It 's an amazing price but, more amazing, is how critical people are about how OTHER people spend their money. Their money, their choice -- and they surely know that they are paying a high price for that meat loaf and, for whatever reason, are OK.with that.

Exactly. People "hear what they want to" I think..

Same.

We've bought the Lobster Tails, many a Christmas Eve and other occasions for what started at about $90 then up to $150. But that's a pricey item no matter where you get it.

It just seems excessive for a meatloaf, that even for those that don't like to cook, I think can be gotten, already made elsewhere a lot more reasonable. And I immediately added up in my head what mine would cost me to make...but then....I only like to have meatloaf I've made myself, know what's in it, and from my mom's recipe.

But I don't care who buys this one! Enjoy!

Anyhoo...OP, always an uproar here.......

You know, I might be inclined to agree with you, if it wasn't that the OP ended with "Are they insane??".  That is absolutely insulting to someone that purchased it.   IF she had written something like "I'm surprised QVC would sell a $90 meatloaf..." I'd probably agree with the statement.  It's the incredulity and hyperbole that gets me every time.
