@loriqvc wrote:I hate to be the downer in this thread, but the fine print on the main Q Card page spells out virtually all the details people are saying are secretive or scams. The only one that isn't as clear is the fact that previous Q Card owners are not eligible for promos on new card applications if their prior accounts have been closed, but I feel like the credit is always mentioned as being an offer for *new* Q Card customers.
I applied for a Q Card last year, made the purchase required, and received my credit within six weeks, so I can vouch for the fact that there's no scam here as long as you follow all the rules and know what you're signing up for.
I am not arguing the validity of what you are saying, but you must have a better handle on navigating the website than me. I looked everywhere for the details and all I found was information relating to getting an extra easy-pay. Perhaps it was there on the day that I applied, which, according to customer service was the last day of the promotion. I'm going to go back to that page and look for more of this "fine print" you refer to. My personal experience was that I found it very difficult to find the information I needed to take advantage of the promised promotion. I'm glad that your experience was better.

@Suzeecat - Just type Q Card into the search field above and you'll go right to the page that outlines the benefits and fine print associated with signing up for a card and taking advantage of the current promotion. The dates for individual promotions will vary, but they're always listed there. (The rest of the fine print is provided with the physical card, but it won't mention anything about promotions because it's from Synchrony Bank, not QVC, and is specific to the terms and conditions of being a cardholder.)

I stopped using my Q card recently. I've been a customer since DAY 1. I came to my senses and realized that I get NOTHING at all for my loyalty and use of the card. NOTHING. Oh wait.... my actual purchases are listed.... WHOO HOOO! I now use PayPal and am glad I made that decision.
Bye Bye Q card!

Listening to the hosts made me think you got the credit on your purchase that very day.

I had a Q card years ago and haven't used it in probably 10 years. I don't feel I would qualify as a "new Q card user" if I applied for one (to get the $$ promo). I don't care for easy pay or for using a Q card. I have better benefits with my current credit card.

here is the current deal.....it is pretty much the same during all deals, except for the dates. it is right on the qcard application page which can be accessed via the qvc homepage.

To qualify, you must (i) open a QCard account during the specified offer period and (ii) make a purchase by August 31, 2019. QVC will post the QVC account credit to the QVC accounts of qualifying QCard holders within 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the offer period but may delay issuance in its discretion in order to investigate any suspected fraud or violation of the terms of this offer. Offer is limited to one QVC account credit per QCard account. Auto-Delivery customers are only eligible for one QVC account credit. No additional QVC account credits will be sent in connection with any subsequent Auto-Delivery shipments. Offer not valid for items ordered on Waitlist or for the purchase of QVC gift cards. Well, unless you pay off your Q card in full each month, the interest rate on Q cards is practically usury, at a rate of almost 30%. I let mine go years ago.

Hi there, thank you for that information. I just applied and got approved for a Q card. I want to make sure I get my $40 account credit. Do I just need to make a purchase in order for it to work? Do you know does it have to be a certain amount or just A purchase? Thanks for your help in advance!

Some of the reasons I didn't fall for the promo. I knew there had to be a catch somewhere, even tho I've never had a Q card. Just don't trust these "to good to be true" promos. The $40 credit sounds good, but there are too many loopholes.

Brandi, When I applied, I had just a few days to place my first order that would "qualifying me for the $40 credit ... also at that time, the purchase must be over $25). You will have to read YOUR terms when you opened your account.
The $40 will not appear on your Q statement but on your QVC account in about 2 months. QVC wants to ensure you do not return the item just to receive this promo. I hope you had better luck than me!
