$37 Shipping Charge for tshirt order

I order 12 tshirts today. They were all the same item number and size in six different colors. I ordered 2 of each color. I admit I did place the the order without looking at total. The amount did not seem correct,so I just went back into order and seen the $37 shipping. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} I am cancelling this order.

I can place an order with Lands End or CJ Banks and get free shipping with smaller total merchandise amounts. Those are the other places I shop besides QVC. I guess they will now be my first choice from now one.

Why can't QVC charge by weight when order clothing. That $37 rate was with the reduced shipping discount. Talk about price gouging! I understand that handling is part of the charge but all of these tshirts are same size and item number. It is not as though they need to go from one end to the other of the warehouse to fill the order.

I just had to vent and hope that QVC changes their shipping rate policy. Am I just over reacting and this rate is normal?
