I don't recall that first host named John Eastman who sold the shower radio even though I watched back in the 80s. I also didn't realize that part about M Brando.

John Eastman was one of the original hosts. He and Kathy Levine cohosted the very first show. Then, for a long time he was a vendor rep for TVs on HSN.

I remember him on QVC. Before he left, didn't he spend some time after hosting in some management position still at QVC? I seem to recall that too - the hosts talking about him being in management.

Regarding the link - I am surprised at her claim because for years Lee Sands has said that he was the first guest vendor at QVC!

I did an Internet search and saw his photo, but I still don't recall seeing him on QVC. I learned that he's made several voice overs for audiobooks, and his voice does sound familiar to me, though.
