We did the same thing with our dear Greta. Her owner had terminal cancer and wanted to find a loving home for her. We found her through a friend. Lovely dog. She passed away suddenly from an aggressive cancer and we still miss her. We did get two puppies later on but after these two are gone we are going back to rescuing. I want to give older dogs a chance at a loving home. It just breaks my heart that there are so many dogs just dumped at the shelter. Makes me wonder how they treat humans if they treat animals like this. Thank heavens she found you.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
