That actually happened to me.  I "inherited" my Mother's 2 Yorkies.  One was very good, his son was a terror.  The young one got out somehow one day and I looked every where for him.  Came home to find him shivering with anxiety at the door.  How he found his way back to my house (his new home) when he was just newly there was amazing.  It's a wonder he didn't try to find his familiar home (which was several hours away - he would have been totally lost.

@Foxxee Poor dog!  He is probably wondering where momma went and why she has been so long returning home to let me in, HA!
