No such thing as "just a dog."   My dog is my companion and even if she goes to grooming for a few hours, I miss her so much.   Understands more than a lot of people do.

@Daysdee   Amen to that! I’ve discussed issues, gotten solace, cried ugly tears and received more comfort from my beagles than DH sometimes.
