dh was cruising the ads last night, and he shows me a photo of a adorable dappled chiweinie "taco-ing"  dh is a sucker for a dog that can taco. (that is when they lay on their back, and crook their head and fold their body like a taco"  anyway, seems little dixie belle, lost her elderly human, and this person swore to her, she would find her a new good home. (me).  the household she is currently in is much to active for her with big dogs. she is supposedly a lap dog, and a bit timid. loves cats. 

so we shall see what today brings me. kinda excited.

Sounds exciting.  Never heard of that type of dog.

Congrats!  My dog is a chi-weenie who I adopted 8 years ago.  I love Brandy so much.  Please post a pic of your new pup.

We adore our Chiweenie.  She has such a great personality and she gives the best snuggles!  Fair warning though, they typically know how to "work it" for extra treats and belly rubs.  They are also a terrible influence when it comes to distracting you from folding laundry, doing dishes, etc.  We love every minute of it!  Enjoy your new addition!
